I am one of three teachers in the Preschool Child with Disabilities program at Bennettsville Primary School. I was born and raised in Bennettsville. I graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC in 1999 with a degree in Special Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I have also earned a master's degree in special education as well as national board certification in special education (cross categorical for ages birth-21). I taught first grade for 2 years and I have been teaching in the PCD program since 2001. I am married and have 2 young daughters.

Tammy Costner



I am a Developmentally Delayed Paraprofessional. I have been a paraprofessional for over 20 years here at BPS. I started my educational career as a volunteer in the media center. I love what I do! My husband and I have been married more than 40 years and we moved to Bennettsville 30 years ago. I have a son and a daughter who are both teachers. I have 1 granddaughter. I love spending my time with my family, beach trips and reading books. I love baking and hunting for bugs with my granddaughter.
