BPS School Counselor

Jasmine Brown is a native of Bennettsville,SC. She graduated from  Marlboro County High School in 2008, went on to complete her Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Coker College with a dual major in Psychology and Dance Movement Analaysis and graduated in 2013. She  recently graduated from Liberty University with a Master's of Education in School Counseling and has been serving as the School Counselor/ Long Term Substitute from February- June and officially came on board in July 2016. She enjoys working with youth. She began working with youth at an early age and admiits that if it had not been for the Chidlren's Defense Fund Freedom Schools she would not be as passionate about youth as she is today. Her goals for our guidance department is to build relationships with our students, meet their mental, physical, and emotioal needs through classroom guidance, small group counseling,and individual counseling. She serves as a true asset to the team and appreciates the support of the BPS family. She enjoys learning new skills and will continue to impact our students as much as possible.
