A Message from Your Principal

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Bennettsville Primary School for the 2016-17 school year.    I am both humbled and honored to serve you as the principal and instructional leader of this dynamic institution. Through collaboration and cooperation with the common goal of student growth and success, BPS can experience a year of true excellence.

Bennettsville Primary School serves our community by providing high quality care and instruction to our 560 + Pre-k through 2
nd grade students.  It truly takes a village to educate our students, as our exceptional faculty and staff pull together to meet the needs of our little ones.  We lay the critical foundation that will produce productive citizens and life-long learners.

This year, our faculty and staff pledge to “be intentional” in everything we do for all stakeholder groups:  Our children, parents, and the community.

For our children, we will deliberately develop positive relationships to ensure all their needs are met.  We will analyze data in order to know both their strengths and weaknesses.  High expectations will always be our goal as we promise to provide high quality, rigorous instruction to enable them to become the best they can be.

For you, our parents, we also desire to form positive relationships and make you feel welcomed in our school.  We desire to hear your opinions and encourage you to partner with us as we guide your child’s academic development.  In addition, we pledge to keep you informed about your child’s academics and behavior.

Community support is a critical component in the vitality of a school.  As the faculty and staff of Bennettsville Primary School, we will utilize our community resources as we welcome them into our school, classrooms, and the hearts of our students.  Finally, we will make conscious efforts to deliver positive messages to the community about BPS as we express deep appreciation for all volunteers and acts of kindness for our students.

Bennettsville Primary School is the school “Where Dreams Begin!”  So please join us as we embark on a magnificent journey, one that will impact the lives of children and shape our future.

 Mrs. Gail Redding, Principal
 Bennettsville Primary School
